Customer Reviews
Good value for a family trip
I booked a 'Tenthuisje' for our family last month. I was looking for something affordable but still fun for the kids. I managed to snag a Najaarskorting, which saved us about 15%. The price felt fair for what we got – a unique experience without breaking the bank. It was definitely worth the purchase; we made some great memories without overspending. Practical and budget-friendly.
Relaxing, but some small issues
We just got back from a 'Tenthuisje met eigen douche' stay. Overall, it was a really good experience. The kids loved feeding the animals and the 'Vakantie zonder elektriciteit' was surprisingly refreshing. Delivery of the 'Lokale streekproducten mand' was spot on, everything fresh. My only minor gripe was the booking process itself; the website was a bit clunky on my phone, especially when trying to apply the early bird discount. Customer service helped me sort it out quickly, though. I'd definitely consider going again, but hope they streamline the booking a bit.
Detailed review of our farm stay
We recently had a 'BoerenBed boerderijvakantie' and chose the 'Tenthuisje met hottub' option in Frankrijk. The online ordering was straightforward, once I found the right dates. We received a confirmation email almost immediately, which was good. The directions to the farm were clear, and check-in was easy. The tent itself was spacious and surprisingly comfortable, especially the beds. Cooking on the houtkachel was a fun challenge, though it took some getting used to. The hottub was a real treat in the evenings. We also bought a 'Kampvuur pakket', which was convenient. My only slight critique is that the 'Dieren voeren beleving' was a bit short, but the kids still enjoyed it. Support was minimal, as we didn't have any major issues, but the farmer was always around if we needed anything. A truly unique and refreshing break from city life.
Fun Glamping experience
Went glamping in Nederland. Booked 'Tenthuisje'. No electricity was fine. Kids loved the farm animals. Delivery of the welcome pack was prompt. Good 'Familievakantie'.

Are there ever any decent last-minute deals for these BoerenBed places? I'm trying to plan a spontaneous trip for next month but don't want to pay full price if I can avoid it.
Hey, thinking of booking one of those safari tents for a long weekend. Are dogs actually allowed, or is it like 'sometimes' at some locations? Gotta bring my furry friend.
